Complete Cyber-Rain XCI System
The Cyber-Rain XCI system costs $349, and comes complete with
everything you need to control up to 8 zones:
- A Cyber-Rain XCI wireless controller for 8 zones
- A 24VAC wall mounted AC adapter
- A Cyber-Rain XCI wireless Access Point that connects to your PC through a USB Port
- USB Cable to connect the Access Point to the PC
- Operating software
Additional Controllers
Purchase additional controllers to manage more
than 8 zones. Use the same Access Point for all controllers. Each
additional controller comes with a 24 volt wall-mounted AC adapter,
and costs $299.
The Outdoor Kit
Cyber-Rain XCI controller is designed to be installed indoors only. Sprinkler controllers are typically installed indoors in most new homes today. However, if you are replacing an existing controller that is installed outside,
we can provide you with a weatherproof enclosure kit that allows you to install your Cyber-Rain
outdoors. This kit is a water-resistant lockable NEMA enclosure that provides safe and secure housing for your Cyber-Rain XCI without interfering with the wireless radio
transmission.
Note:
We strongly recommend that the outdoor installation be performed by a professional
electrician to make sure that it complies with regulations in your area.
Requirements:
Connection of the power to the outdoor kit requires 14 gage solid wires. Stranded wires or wires of different size will not work.The outdoor enclosure must be installed within the range of reception from the Cyber-Rain access point. This can be between 300' to 1000'. Install the unit away from metal enclosures and transformers.
