And the Weather Watch feature enables you to see the current weather and a forecast at all times.

Know Exactly How Much Water You Save. You’ve installed the system to help you conserve water. Unlike timer systems, Cyber-Rain XCI keeps track of exactly how much water your sprinkler system is using. Compare your “before” and “after” water bill to see the difference.

Using Wireless Connectivity for Your Yard and Landscape is Easy and Convenient. The controller and your PC speak directly to each other using their own network included in the system. You don't need to have wireless in your home, and no complicated wiring is needed. Once the controller and the software are installed, they sense each other wirelessly and begin the set up process automatically.

Easy and Smart Scheduling Take the Guesswork and Waste out of Watering. You define when you want to water and for how long, and you can set up specific days that you do not want to water at all, such as during a barbecue. The controller receives your initial watering schedule and uses that until it gets an update, which you can make at any time. Automatic system updates happen when the Cyber-Rain XCI receives information about changes in weather. If it’s going to rain, the system will suspend watering for 24 hours after the rain stops. The system also keeps track of time, schedule changes, daylight savings and seasons.

Flexible Watering Strategies Maintain Maximum Efficiency, Even When You’re Not Home. The watering index assumes you’ll use the most water when it's hottest, and the least when it’s coldest. Cyber-Rain XCI lets you use the watering index for your area/region. Under normal use, Cyber-Rain gets hourly weather updates from the internet. However, if your PC is turned off for an extended period of time (i.e. vacation) Cyber-Rain will default to the weather index for your area. No other controller offers this level of ease and intelligence.

Zone Management Lets You Design a Watering System According to the Needs of Different Areas of Your Yard or Landscape. A single Cyber-Rain system can manage multiple zones and watering schedules for your yard, while allowing you to give each area a unique name you’ll remember. You’ll never worry that the extra water needed for hydrangeas in the “Flower bed next to George and Judy’s house” will be wasted on the fruit trees “Along walkway.”
